View of Potomac River from Wharf

South of the mansion and down some stairs is the Wharf that the Washington's used for trade.  Much of this trade was with Alexandria, Virginia, some 10 miles or so up river.  This view of the Potomac River is looking NE, toward Alexandria and the modern-day Washington D. C.
