Blend peanut butter and shortening together. Then add the sugars and cream until light
and fluffy.
Stir in eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients together and then sift into creamed
mixture. Mix well.
Then roll into small balls (if too hard to handle, chill for 2-3 hours). Place onto
slightly greased
cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork dipped in flour, making crisscross marks on top of each
one.
Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.
